Modern & Tap

Tina loves everything about dance and is passionate about her role as a dance teacher. She performed professionally before doing her teacher training with the ISTD. She worked at the vocational ballet school, Legat, for many years as their Jazz and Tap teacher but since having a family she now works locally as a Modern and Tap teacher at two other fantastic dance schools. Many of her students have gone on to perform in the West End or toured the world, dancing.

She has had a 100% success rate with all the Modern and Tap candidates she has entered in ISTD exams but also loves choreography and pride herself in giving students free work so they can become more versatile and discover new styles as well as progressing through the syllabus work.

Recently Tina has branched out into Dance Photography, and qualified professionally with The Guild of Photographers. She has been fortunate enough to photograph many renowned West End dancers as well as doing the rehearsal photos for the London Children’s Ballet production of Ballet Shoes back in 2019 at The Peacock Theatre, London.

Tina lives in Wadhurst, and is thrilled to become part of the Cygnets to Swans dance family.
