Originally from Barbados, Imogen moved to the UK at 16 after being awarded a dance scholarship to continue her education at the Legat School of Dance. She went on to complete her professional training in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Since graduating, she has worked in a variety of roles across the dance industry as both a performer and educator. Imogen worked for The Royal Ballet School for 4 years including the roles of Assistant Lead House Parent & Head of Year 7. She is currently Head of Dance at Mayfield School, where she teaches both curriculum and extracurricular dance classes.

At CTS, she will be teaching the Rambert Grades syllabus and she looks forward to sharing her passion for contemporary dance with students, helping them to develop their technique, creativity, and confidence with the style.

Rambert is the most highly esteemed vocational Contemporary School in the UK and their syllabus for recreational dance schools is very much in line with the RBS affiliate programme, so it couldn't be a more perfect fit for us.

Imogen's first contemporary classes will run on Mondays at 5.15 - 6.15 in our dance studio and is aimed at students in year 6 & above. She can then transfer students to the drama studio for Upper Musical Theatre.
