We advise not to invest in any of the uniform until you have attended your trial. Socks with grippy soles for ballet and trainers for tap are fine for a trial.

Sizing - Dansez have altered their sizing, so all new uniform is true to size.

We strongly encourage all pupils to have a CTS t-shirt, CTS mint green sweater or CTS jacket for wearing to & from class and waiting around at show rehearsals and watching week etc.

CTS branded varsity jackets, dance bags and onesies can be purchased from Rock The Dragon - these are great for cooler months and can also be personalised with your performer’s name.

We recommend getting ballet & tap shoes professionally fitted at The Dancing Boutique on Camden Road in Tunbridge Wells.

Please label EVERYTHING! We have a lost property box, which we put out during classes at the Commemoration Hall.

We have a small but growing selection of preloved uniform, managed by a CTS volunteer. Proceeds from any sales go directly into the CTS fund. If you would like to be added to the Whatsapp group, please contact Hannah or Katy.

Hair should be neatly and appropriately styled off the face and neck so that the face and neckline can be seen and there is no hair falling across the face. Buns are preferable for all dance classes.

For students who wish to wear a headscarf or hijab, this should be styled off the face and neck as much as possible so that the face and neckline can be seen.

For safety reasons jewellery (apart from stud earrings) is not permitted unless required for religious or faith reasons.

Swans Adult Ballet

Most feel comfortable in leggings and a t-shirt/jumper. Socks are fine if you don’t want to invest in ballet shoes. If you do, canvas split sole are the best option. An optional CTS branded sweater and CTS t-shirt are also available, which you are welcome to wear.
